The Blackberry Storm 2 9550 now has been on sale via Verizon for $179.99 with two year agreemnets after $100 on-line discount as anticipated. The new verizon phones - Blackberry Storm 2 is “better” than the storm1 in terms of speed and typing but it was essentially the same device. I have to admit I wasn’t that impressed.

If you have an original Storm purchased through Verizon then first, our condolences. At the risk of rubbing it in (since you’re still on contract) we have to tell you that the second generation Storm2 — the full-screen BlackBerry you should have waited for — just got an official $179.99 (after $100 mail-in rebate and 2-year contract) October 28th release date as expected. Storm owners can, however, take solace in the BlackBerry OS 5.0 update now available for download that boasts several improvements including those keyboard and general usability enhancements we already knew were coming

Verizon cuts BlackBerry Storm pricing to $50,Verizon BlackBerry Storm price $49.99 Now.The Verizon BlackBerry Storm’s great screen display internet is very easy to use. I really love the big screen and the high resolution. The internet is really easy to use. i have noticed that the phone runs slow, but only when a lot of applications are running. Verizon has reduced the price of a brand spankin’ new Storm to just $49.99 on a 2-year contract. I wonder if the means the BlackBerry storm 2 will be here shortly. Maybe they are clearing out the old stock.
The Verizon BlackBerry Strom Pros: email access, messenger access with 3rd party software, GPS, web access. New software available every week. I really love the screen feedback, copy and paste, the application switcher etc…
